Getting What You Want, Now!

We've all been there, the bar is packed with people and it's a challenge to even make it to the bar to order drinks and getting the bartender's attention is even harder. I'm usually lucky because I know most of the tenders in my area and have no problem getting my order in, but when there is a new tender or we're at a "new" bar my friends and I use a few tricks to get quicker service. The most effective is waving a large bill for the bartender to see. Bartenders depend on tips more than most realize and the opportunity for a larger tip can grab their attention faster than anything else.
