Bitters are Back

The beginning of the cocktail era employed bitters in almost every drink and they have become a thing of the past until recently. Angostura and orange bitters are the most common bitters used in cocktail recipes and are key to a making a good Rob Roy or Manhattan. The lack of popularity for nearly three decades has taken bitters off the shelves of many liquor stores but they are coming back.
