Go Blue

There's something about blue cocktails that is both captivating and pleasing. Maybe it's because it seems so unnatural, maybe it makes us revert back to the days of blue Kool-Aid, then again, maybe it's just because blue drinks look cool and refreshing. Blue curaçao is the reason all of these drinks are blue and not only does this liqueur add this stunning color effect, but it also adds the subtle orange sweetness found in all Curaçaos. Typically blue drinks have a light liquor base so that the color can really shine; gin is the base for the Sapphire Martini and Yale Cocktail, tequila the base for an Envy, rum the base for a Blue Hawaiian. For other cocktails like the Easter Egg and shooters such as Red, White and Blue the curacao is mixed with other liqueurs, creating a unique taste and wonderful color palate. As we roll through spring and into summer keep a bottle of blue curaçao in your liquor cabinet and surprise guests with a blue cocktail every now and then.

What happened to the Vodka Review site?
Or, Vodkas from Poland and the 1 to 5 star ratings?
