One of the developing trends in the world of spirits today is flavored liquors. Many distillers are trying to add fruit and other flavors to vodka, rum and gin and the majority of these just don't make the grade. Only a few stand out from the crowd and the line of flavored vodka produced by Domaine Charbay is one of them. The variety of flavors include Ruby Red Grapefruit, Meyer Lemon, Red Raspberry and Green Tea; all of which are made with real, fresh fruit (and tea leaves in the case of Green Tea) to produce some stunning flavors. Immediately you can tell the difference that flavors extracted from the actual source can make as opposed to the factory flavors other companies use. Each of these vodkas make a supreme sipper and are a great base to use in place of clear vodkas in many cocktails. Two drinks that show off the wonders of the Green Tea and Red Raspberry vodkas are the Angèle Green Tea Cooler and Raspberry Press. Charbay vodkas can be found at wine and spirit stores across the country and a new Pomegranate vodka is scheduled to debut this August. I'm on the edge of my seat to see what these master distillers come up with next.

I agree on the Charbay! Also, there is an excellent rum called Reunion Island/Isautier that is infused with real fruit. Produced on a French Island in the Indian Ocean. Flavors include Coffee/Vanilla, Ginger/lemon, Goyavier(Guava), Pineapple, Passion fruit.

Agree about Charbay. Amazing stuff! if you like Rum, you have to try their Tahitian Vanilla Bean Rum. The REAL thing. Very limited production. Great price for such an exquisite spirit.
