Frozen Summer

Wednesday June 14, 2006
The way it's looking it may end up being one of the hottest summers many of us have seen and we all need to do everything we can to stay cool. One way that we can chill ourselves out is to partake in a frozen beverage. Margaritas and daiquiris are classic frozen cocktails that everyone is familiar with and there are many flavor possibilities once you start getting creative with fresh fruit. Try apple, orange, banana-strawberry or even strawberry-pineapple-melon, the combinations are endless. Avoid alcohol during the heat of the day because you can become dehydrated very easily. For great non-alcoholic cocktails that are refreshingly cold, why not a Green Grape Glacier or Coco Colada.
