Football Cocktail Menus

It is down to the last four teams on the road to Super Bowl XLII and that means it's time for this year's cocktail menus. While beer may be the football fan's drink of choice, this is a great opportunity to show off your mixing skills if you're hosting a party. The Chargers, Patriots, Giants and Packers made this cocktail menu rather easy to build because each team is from an area with distinct drinks. For the Giants fans, the cocktail choices were no brainers: the Manhattan and Long Island, with the New York Cocktail and Bronx rounding out the options. Wisconsin's preference of a Brandy Old-fashioned is perfect for Packers fans and tequila plays a role in San Diego's menu. And, for New England I just had to go with the Cape Codder, Ward Eight and Boston Sidecar. Pair these drinks with some of your favorite regional appetizers for a great football party.
