Super Bowl Party

Wednesday January 30, 2008
Ready for Super Bowl Sunday? This year's match up of the New York Giants and New England Patriots is the perfect setting for a simple, classic cocktail menu. Serve up a Ward Eight, Boston Sidecar and Cape Codder for Patriots fans and a Manhattan, New York Cocktail and Long Island Iced Tea for Giants fans. IF you insist on beer (which I know many will), check out Bryce Eddings Super Bowl beer picks. And, on the other side of the coin, for wine lovers Stacy Slinkard has a few Super Bowl wine selections.

Now, we know a Super Bowl party isn't all about drinking and would not be complete without food, namely a table full of appetizers. To help out with the matter of food, the Food Guides on About.com have put together a great selection of finger foods for you to peruse, and ultimately impress the socks off your guests. We have almost every type of cuisine from around the world covered here, including picks for the special diets, so there is sure to be something for everyone.

Happy Super Bowl watching and remember to designate someone to get everyone home after the game!
