Getting Fizzy

Wednesday April 16, 2008
Fizzes, those great refreshing tall drinks filled with soda water. There's a great range of fizz recipes out there, from the simple Gin Fizz or Imperial Fizz to the labor intensive New Orleans (Ramos) Fizz.

What makes a fizz a fizz? Soda water and lots of it. Bottled soda will work fine, but for a real fizzy fizz, get a soda siphon. This is one bar tool that anyone making highballs on a regular basis should have and, with the warmer weather upon us once again there will be more calls for these invigorating drinks.
