April 22nd is officially Earth Day, a day for celebrating the riches of our natural world and to raise awareness for protecting our environment. Every year it becomes more important to do what we can to clean up and preserve the planet for future generations and halt the effects of global warming. There are a lot of organizations and groups planning events on Earth Day or you can get your own group together and do something (anything) to help out the environment.
