Averna Cocktail Competition Winner

After many long months the winner of the Averna HAVE A NEW LOOK Cocktail Competition has been announced. The talented bartender who took top honors is Don Lee of PDT in New York. As you may be able to see in the picture, Lee also made this final round of La Cola Nostras with one arm in a cast. That's dedication, but for such an honor I'm sure many of us would do the same. Congratulations Don and all of the finalists!

La Cola Nostra

• 1.5 ounce Zacapa 23
• 1 ounce Averna
• .75 ounce lime juice
• .5 ounce simple syrup
• .25 ounce Pimento Dram
• 2 ounces Champagne (Moet White Star)

Shake ingredients with ice, strain into a long glass with ice. Top with Champagne.
