Oval Office Cocktail Competition

Sunday September 28, 2008
Think you have an original drink that would be perfect for election day? Now is your chance to show it off and possibly win your self some cash. Oval Vodka has a cocktail competition going in which they are searching for the new "Oval Office" cocktail.

Now through October 25 you can submit an original cocktail recipe on OvalVodka.com for your chance to win $500 and have that drink named the "Official Drink of the Oval Office." Okay, so it probably won't be the exact drink in the Oval Office but the competition's concept is fun. The rules are that the drink must be your own, unique creation and that it must include Oval Vodka.

In case you have not yet had the chance to taste this unique vodka, it's profile is ultra-smooth and clean. This opens up the doors for many great cocktails because it uses a unique technique called "structuring" which surrounds the liquor with water. I used it to create my Mango Tonic because it is so clean and transparent and doesn't disturb the flavors of the tonic and Marie Brizard. So, grab a bottle of Oval Vodka and let your imagination go wild and good luck.
