Saturday Sipping: Cape North Vodka and the Mad Eye Martini

Saturday October 25, 2008
This Saturday Sipper was a hit when it debuted during last year's Halloween season so I thought it appropriate to highlight it as the final sipper before the scariest party night. This year, however I am recommending a brand new, premium vodka, Cape North, to mix into the Mad Eye Martini.

What the Mad Eye Martini brings to Halloween is certainly not it's baby blue color or its clean and fruity flavor, no the garnish is the feature of this spooky sipper. If you construct the lychee and blueberry eyeball correctly it is certain to freak out a few of your party guests. You may have to encourage some to actually eat it because, although it does look quite gruesome,it pairs perfectly with the cocktail it sits above. Using a super-smooth and clean vodka like Cape North adds to the sophistication of the drink and allows the Hpnotiq to shine in the best light.
