Too Cool Über Tools

As with all professions, there are essential tools that every bartender uses over and over again. When it comes to jiggers, shakers, speed pourers and everything else needed in the bar there are significant differences in quality. Some tools feel flimsy, some will break after just a little use and then there are the ones that are designed to stand up to the fast pace of the bar. Über Tools are one of the latter and they are a gem to work with.

Über has a full line of barware and they're designed by bartenders for bartenders - a scenario that always produces the best results. The ProJig is amazing for accurate measuring and the ProFlow is one of the best speed pourers I've ever used. Their strainers have nice coverage of the shaker tin and the ProStirrer is a heavy, weighted bar spoon unlike any I've seen.

The other fantastic aspect of Über Tools is that they have kits with everything a bartender needs to travel from job to job. Just as chefs will roll out a set of their own knives, bartenders can roll out all the tools they need for that night's work. Handy if you do a lot of private parties. Also, bar managers can supply these sets in their bar and train the bartenders to work efficiently and avoid a lot of waste from overpouring and inconsistent cocktails.
