This is a frozen version of a Daiquiri. It stays with the fresh lime juice that you find in the shaken version. It has a slight lime flavor and you can add more juice if you like, but there is no need to stop there.

Take this recipe and make it your own by creating your own fresh fruit blend like pineapple-kiwi, strawberry-banana, etc. Another option is to go with one fruit such as the Strawberry Daiquiri and Banana Daiquiri.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 1 Cocktail

  1. Blend the light rum, lime juice, and syrup with 1 cup of ice until desired thickness.
  2. Pour into a chilled collins glass.
  3. Garnish with the lime wedge.

If the mix is too juicy, add more ice. If it is too thick, add juice.

I had to substitute the lime juice and sugar syrup with a pre-made lime syrup concentrate (I just added the 2 ingredient portions together for how much to use). I also prepared it with a blender so that the ice was crushed. The drinks turned out very well.
