Think of the Imperial as a Martini with a cherry twist. The suggested teaspoon of maraschino liqueur is a matter of personal taste, but you can use more or less depending on your own preference. Although too much is not a good thing in this case.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz dry vermouth
- 2 oz gin
- 1 tsp maraschino liqueur
- lemon twist for garnish
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice cubes.
- Stir well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with the lemon twist.
