The Boston Sidecar is a great cross between a Daiquiri and the original Sidecar and it's essentially the same drink as a Between the Sheets, the difference being that the Boston Sidecar concentrates on rum where the other uses equal parts of the liquors. I'm unsure of the origins of this drink, or how it became a namesake of Boston, so if you know the story please let me know. Regardless, it's a great drink and deserves to be served more often.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1/2 oz brandy
  • 1/2 oz triple sec
  • 1/2 oz lime juice

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
