This Old-fashioned is a variation of the classic bourbon cocktail, hold the bourbon. The Brandy Old-fashioned is a favorite in Wisconsin and what you're likely to be served if you order an Old-fashioned in the state. It's a good drink, but personally the whiskey version cannot be beat.

Fantastic Cocktail, Member markjaycee1

I've been drinking Brandy Old Fashions for almost fifty years and it's my favorite cocktail. I live in Wisconsin and most folks order either a sweet or sour Old Fashion as before dinner drinks at our supper clubs. They are smooth, tasty and really settle a person down after a hectic week.
