Simple and captivating, The Chrysanthemum is a drink unlike any other. This mix concentrates on dry vermouth, allowing it to be the flavor base against the brandy and absinthe accents. If you notice, in the picture The Chrysanthemum is shown on the rocks while the recipe calls for it to be served up in cocktail glass. Either is a good option, though I do prefer the iced version because it allows the flavors to relax as you drink.

Ingredients:
- 1 part Pernod® Absinthe
- 2 parts Brandy
- 5 parts Dry Vermouth
- 1 thin strip orange peel
Preparation:
- In a cocktail shaker, stir together the ingredients.
- Add ice and stir for one minute, then strain into a martini glass.
- Squeeze orange peel over drink, making sure oils fall into the glass, then drop peel into the drink and serve.
