The Embassy Cocktail is another great cocktail from the 1930's and was featured at Hollywood's Embassy Club. It is almost identical to the more recent Boston Sidecar with just a couple differences.
The Embassy Cocktail was likely inspired in part by the brandy and rum mixes found in many holiday drinks, specifically nogs. Mixing those two spirits has proven true for centuries and this is a nice way to experience them in a lighter, non-creamy form.
