It is a classic cocktail and was likely to have first been published in 1899 in Applegreen’s Bar Book.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz brandy
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 1 egg
- ginger ale
Preparation:
- Pour the brandy, simple syrup and egg into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake vigorously to ensure the egg is properly mixed.
