D.R.F.O. Cocktail

By Colleen Graham, About.com

Old-fashioned Glass

Glass Guide- Old-fashioned Glass

If you can remember what the initials of this cocktail stand for, you can remember what goes into it: "D.R." is for Dark Rum, "F" is for Frangelico and "O" is for Ouzo. Put the three together equally over ice and, you guessed it, you have a D.R.F.O. Cocktail. It's a great mix with some sweetness, a little nuttiness and a touch of licorice flavor peaking out from the fold.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 oz dark rum
  • 1 1/2 oz ouzo
  • 1 1/2 oz Frangelico

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into an old-fashioned glass.
