By Colleen Graham, About.com

Old-fashioned Glass

Glass Guide- Old-fashioned Glass

This Down East Delight is a delicious blend of three juices served as a tasty mocktail and sweetened with a bit of orgeat syrup. If you cannot find orgeat syrup at your local stores you can substitute almond syrup, honey or even a nectar like the popular agave for equally great taste.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz cranberry juice
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 oz orgeat syrup or honey (or to taste)
  • maraschino cherry for garnish

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass.
  4. Garnish with the maraschino cherry.
