I'm not sold on the olive called for to garnish this cocktail, but beyond that, it is good drink when you are in the right mood for it. The mix is one of Irish whiskey, creme de menthe, and Chartreuse, so it is certainly a unique flavor combination that is worth trying.

This is a very green cocktail, perfect for serving at St. Patrick's Day parties. You will want to be sure to use the green varieties of both liqueurs to get that perfect shade.

Prep Time: 3 minutes

Total Time: 3 minutes

Yield: 1 Cocktail

Ingredients:

Preparation:

  1. Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Garnish with the olive.

it was pretty good. I'm not into the olive. minty brine just doesn't do it for me but.... they do make green marachino cherries... minty and delicious
