The Halfpipe transforms absinthe into a dessert-like cocktail that is quite delicious. In it, the anise flavor is mixed with coffee and cream liqueurs and the result is a drink with a sweet candy taste.
For the cream liqueur you can take your pick, though may want to think about an Irish cream.
If you notice, it is suggested that this drink be served warm. If you like (and what I recommend) stir this in a mixing glass and strain or chill it out with a slow melting ice ball.
