The idea of this Martini is to drink straight, chilled gin in a well-chilled glass with a hint of dry vermouth. It is one of the ways that those who like their Martinis "bone dry" to get away with using as little vermouth as possible. I do suggest, as with any of the dry gin Martinis, that you choose a premium gin because it will show if a lower quality gin is used.

Total Time: 3 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 splash of dry vermouth
- 4 shots of gin
Preparation:
- Pack a cocktail glass with ice.
- Add a splash of dry vermouth.
- While the glass is chilling, pour the gin in a mixing glass with ice and stir.
- Throw away the ice and vermouth.
- Strain the gin into the prepared cocktail glass.
