The Kahlua Cognaccino is a simple yet delicious cocktail created by Julio De Los Santos, a New York City mixologist, for the 2009 holiday release of Kahlua Coffee Cream. This liqueur combines the great coffee taste of one of the best coffee liqueurs with a rich cream and in this drink it is a wonderful pairing with amaretto and cognac. Though it is similar to a few well-known cocktails (see recommendations below), the Cognaccino does stand out because of that liqueur and makes a great after dinner drink.
Ingredients:
- 1 part Kahlua Coffee Cream
- 1/2 part Amaretto
- 1 part Martell V.S. Cognac
Preparation:
- Combine all ingredients into cocktail shaker.
- Shake and strain into a flute dusted with nutmeg.
