La Habana is a cocktail with classic style and is simple and satisfying. Mixing gin and apricot brandy is a great combination, one that I've enjoyed best with London dry gins. You should be able to find apricot brandy, though you may find substituting either Marie Brizard Apry or Rothman & Winter Orchard Apricot a better choice.
Fresh lime juice is key. You will need a lime for garnishing anyway, so there is no excuse not to go fresh.
