Two of the five cocktails created during the Pernod Absinthe "muse series" include grapes, this #26 Cocktail and the Charmides. That's interesting because one might not think of pairing the fruit with the anise of absinthe. The #26 was created by Marko Knezevic of the Grass Restaurant & Lounge in Miami, Florida and his muse for it was Ernest Hemingway who is famously known for his Daiquiri drinking habits, he was also a big fan of the "Green Fairy." Hemingway's first novel, The Torrents of Spring, was published in 1926 and that same year he penned his most important early work, The Sun Also Rises.
