I can imagine sitting in a rustic lodge in the north woods, fireplace roaring, snow falling outside and an Oak Room Special in hand. The combination of brandy and cherry brandy makes a great base for any cocktail, but the creamy chocolate used here is a nice change and finishes it off nicely. This recipe makes two servings.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz brandy
- 2 oz cherry brandy
- 2 oz crème de cacao
- 1 egg white
Preparation:
- Pour all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake vigorously (moreso than usual to ensure the thicker ingredients are completely mixed).
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Makes 2 servings.
