Cocktail Glass

Glass Guide- Cocktail Glass

Although any gold tequila (or any tequila for that matter) will work well in an Old Lay, Jose Cuervo Gold is typically used. The additional orange, lime and pomegranate flavors are contributed by triple sec, lime juice and grenadine respectively and combine to make it a very tasty cocktail.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 oz Jose Cuervo Gold tequila
  • 3/4 oz triple sec
  • splash of lime juice
  • grenadine

Preparation:

  1. Pour the tequila, triple sec and lime juice into a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Shake well.
  3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Top with grenadine.
