If you didn't figure it out, the Rhett Butler cocktail is named after the classic figure from Gone with the Wind. It doesn't stop here, there is also a Scarlet O'Hara Cocktail and both have the smooth, southern base of Southern Comfort. It's interesting to see that the gentleman's tribute drink is a little more sour than the sweetness of the belle's. Both drinks are great and the pair are perfect for a party's feature drink menu.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz Southern Comfort
- 1/2 oz orange curacao
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
- lemon twist for garnish
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a lemon peel.
