A shot of tequila chased with a shot of clamato juice spiced up with Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces. Jose Cuervo Especial gold tequila is the preferred tequila for a Sangrita.
Note: Those with allergies to seafood should not consume clamato juice as it is a blend of tomato juice and clam broth.
Ingredients:
- 1 oz gold tequila
- 1 oz clamato juice
- 3-5 drops Tabasco sauce
- dash of Worcestershire sauce
Preparation:
- Fill one shot glass with tequila.
- Fill a second shot glass with clamato juice and add the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauces.
- Shoot the tequila and chase it with the second shot.
