A Sweet City takes your favorite gin (traditionally genever), adds sweet vermouth and apricot brandy for a much sweeter "Martini," one that is even sweeter than the Manhattan. I like this cocktail for dinner parties because it can work as both an aperitif and a digestif and compliments more "robust" meals like steak and red-sauced pastas perfectly.
