This is one of my original recipes. Every year for my birthday I treat myself to a day off spent experimenting with a new drink, one of those is Sweet Summer Days. Bacardi's Apple Rum is a sweet
light rum that is delightful on it's own but when it's mixed it adds a wonderful touch to a cocktail that is hard to reproduce with other ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz vodka
- 3/4 oz Bacardi apple rum
- 1/4 oz lemon juice
- green apple wedge or lemon wedge for garnish
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake well.
- Wet the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with the lemon wedge.
- Pour the contents of the shaker into the glass.
- Garnish with a wedge of green apple or lemon.
