This is not a shooter to take lightly and may be the only alcohol you'll want to drink for a night, but that's up to you. The Jamaican coffee liqueur Tia Maria and rum cream softens the overproof (150 proof) rum which you should never drink straight, always dilute this rum for your own health. Besides being a powerful shooter, it actually tastes pretty good.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz Tia Maria
- rum cream
- 1/2 oz overproof (150 proof) rum
Preparation:
This is a layered shot so each ingredient is poured on top of the previous.
- Pour the Tia Maria into a shot glass.
- Float the rum cream on top of the Tia Maria.
- Pour the overproof rum on top of the rum cream.
