Will Rogers was a real cowboy from Oklahoma who learned his amazing rope tricks as a young man in Rio. After traveling with Wild West shows all over the world Rogers starred in vaudeville and the Ziegfeld Follies. He became famous in silent films and later made his first speaking feature film They Had to See Paris in 1929. His wit and folk philosophy was published in almost every major publication of the time and became known as 'Rogerisms.'
Ingredients:
- 2 oz gin
- 1 oz dry vermouth
- 1 oz orange juice
- 4 dashes curaçao
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
