This tropical cocktail is perfect for island getaways and tropical cocktail parties. The popular Hawaiian song, Yaka Hula Hickey Dula, inspired this dark rum drink that can be either shaken or blended. For a garnish place a chunk of pineapple on a cocktail pick.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz dark rum
- 1 1/2 oz dry vermouth
- 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
Preparation:
Shaken:- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Pour the ingredients into a blender with 3/4 cup ice.
- Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a chilled hurricane glass.
