The Yale Cocktail is a classic and has a stunning blue hue thanks to the orange-flavored blue curaçao. It has more orange in it than the original Martini, which used a dash of orange bitters. You'll also find a recipe for a non-blue Yale Cocktail that uses orange bitters and maraschino liqueur in place of the curaçao.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz dry vermouth
- 1 1/2 oz gin
- 1 tsp blue curaçao
- 1 dash bitters
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir well.
- Pour the ingredients into a chilled cocktail glass.
