Choose your favorite whiskey, add Pernod, Angostura bitters and dry vermouth to make a great Yashmak. Your homemade sugar syrup will add some sweetness to this cocktail that can be served either shaken or blended.
Ingredients:
- 2 oz whiskey
- 3/4 oz dry vermouth
- 1/2 oz Pernod
- several dashes of Angostura bitters
- sugar syrup to taste
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled highball glass filled with ice or a cocktail glass with no ice.
Optional: Blend the ingredients with 3/4 cup of ice until smooth.
