Fresh Pears, Pear Juice, Pear Nectar, etc.
Just like all fruit, the pear can come in many forms. Fresh pears can be difficult to work with in a drink, but the fruit's juice and nectar are great alternatives and can be found in almost any supermarket. When making substitutions, remember that pear nectar is going to be sweeter, thicker, and slightly grainier than the juice and you should adjust the ratio accordingly. Then again, many fine pear-flavored drinks can be enhanced with nectar. Experiment and see what you enjoy most.
The pear ingredient is indicated for each recipe. Those with no notation use the fresh fruit.

These, such Grey Goose La Poire and Absolut Pears, are ideal for turning the average vodka cocktail into a fruity delight.
