This Grapefruit-Campari Sorbet is the brainchild of celebrity Chef Jamie Oliver and it is a superb iced dessert filled with great flavors. It is a simple recipe to make and the mix of Campari, orange, lemon and grapefruit are fantastic together. The addition of the bitter liqueur makes this a great sorbet for anytime of the year, so you don't have to keep your ice desserts designated to summer.

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 pints fresh squeezed grapefruit juice, strained
  • 14 oz superfine sugar
  • 7 fluid oz Campari
  • juice of 2 lemons
  • juice of 2 oranges

Preparation:

  1. Whisk together the grapefruit juice and sugar.
  2. Add the Campari, lemon and orange juices.
  3. Freeze in an ice cream maker, or in a metal container for a granita texture.
