How to Cut Lime Garnishes

This cut will create a slice in the middle of the half-moon. The purpose of this is so that you can easily slide it onto the rim of the glass without juice squirting everywhere or ruining the look of the garnish.
  1. Make a small cut in the middle of each half-moon, beginning near the center, cutting away from the rind.
