St. Patrick's Day drinks typically tend to include an Irish spirit or have an unusual shade of green. As the name implies, this drink is quite different. It features Xanté, a pairing fears spirit that is quite lovely, and the green comes from the muddled cucumber. When it comes to choosing a gin, I would have to recommend a premium London dry though some of the boutique gins would add some unique flavor. I'm especially thinking of Aviation and Hendrick's.
