I love to use all types of herbs in every aspect of my life and more often than not it comes in the form of a cocktail. In the instance of the Herbal Pleasures drink, I was inspired by the fall cutting of my herbs and wanted a new drink that captured that herbaceous aroma and taste.
I originally made the drink with Loft Lavender Cello, though it now seems to be out of production and that is a sad realization. However, I have since adapted the recipe to be used with a homemade lavender syrup. The lavender can be found in bulk at many grocers and natural food stores and the syrup is easy and great to have on hand.
