Lavender is one of my favorite herbs and it is amazing when paired with a balanced, fully aromatic gin like Bombay Sapphire. It was those two ingredients that inspired me to create this simple variation of the Martini. Basically, all of the Martini ingredients are there, but it is enhanced with a fresh summertime fragrance and a little sweetness via homemade lavender syrup, which has become a staple in my bar.
