Saketini Cocktail Recipe

In the Saketini the sake acts like the vermouth of a classic Martini and adds a different nuance to the drink that only the "rice wine" can contribute.

Technically, sake is not a "wine," but is more like beer because it is distilled from grain. You'll see a lot of Sake Martini recipes that can vary greatly: many add an orange liqueur and some utilize more sake than this one.

The other option is the garnish. Typically it is an olive, but I like to go a little brighter and use an Asian fruit like a lychee for a unique adornment.
