Cran Dandy Shandy

I came across this drink by a series of inspirations. One was the arrival of Fever Tree's new Ginger Beer and then a taste of Fentiman's at Tales of the Cocktail, which made a fantastic Moscow Mule. Between the two tastes I ran across a Ginger Beer Shandy in Zero-Proof Cocktails and that was a great mocktail so I thought why not add something. So I did and found white cranberry juice to tame the spiciness and sweet the tart just enough. The result is a refreshing, slightly spicy and sparkling non-alcoholic drink that the family can enjoy all summer long. I like to pour this over an iceball so it stays cold.

Preparation:

  1. Pour fresh squeezed lemonade and white cranberry juice into an ice-filled, tall glass.
  2. Top with ginger beer.
