This year the New York Giants and New England Patriots will battle it out in Pheonix, Arizona for Super Bowl XLII on February 3, 2008. Super Bowl Sunday is always a great party and it doesn't have to be just a beer fest. Add a touch of class and impress your guests with some spectacular cocktails and extraordinary finger foods.
I've put together a cocktail menu for each of the four teams that made it to the Conference Championship games. Last year the cocktail menus were based on the team colors, but the four teams vying for the championship this year are from some cocktail rich regions with local favorites and hometown creations that fill the menus. If you have fans from two of the opposing teams in attendance at your bash, mix up a cocktail for each.
