When it comes to an interesting variation of the classic Caipirinha, the King Carlos Caipirinha takes the cake. You will notice that it starts out in the ordinary way, but when it comes to what is muddled together it is anything but ordinary with a mix of watermelon, cilantro and chili added to the lime. This drink is definitely one for the adventurous Caipirinha drinker who is seeking a little spice in their life.
The King Carlos Caipirinha was created in 2009 by Leblon Cachaca as a "consolation" drink inspired by Madrid, one of the cities that was a runner up to Brazil for hosting the 2016 Olympics.
