The first ever Ultimate Cocktail Challenge was recently held at Astor Center in New York City. Essentially, the Ultimate Cocktail Challenge was a test to see which spirits performed best in which cocktails. Famed New York mixologists Willy Shine, Aisha Sharpe, Lindsay Nader and Sean Hoard prepared the cocktails for a star studded judging panel including Dale Degroff, David Wondrich, Steve Olson, Tad Carducci and Don Lee. After tasting and carefully rating each cocktail on a 100 point scale, these were the winning Scotch whiskies.
